What did you do to your Gen 1 today?
Did a few small things on the crew today.
I tried to tighten up my VSS....it wobbles and moves freely....cheap aftermarket unit, it's the body that is swinging on the main shaft. Finally had to wedge a Zip tie around it to make it more stable.
Then I had to re-attach the 4wd switch wiring....came loose when I bombed through 2 feet of water a week or so ago.
Then tried to figure out where my 4wd shifter rattle is coming from. Everything is tight, and couldn't make it rattle the way it is when driving.
And since I was down under the truck I decided to spray the inside of my rockers and other brackets with Fluidfilm. I purchased a 18" flexible hose connection that hooks to a can, and that sprays in a 360* pattern...works awseome!
Then I hooked up a set of LED driving lights, they are 2x3 with 6 LED's. Didn't want to cut into my nice bush bumper.....so I removed the grill and zip tied them to the back of the upper outside area of the grill insert on each side. Only place I had that would clear the PS IC.
They work pretty good, should help me see the wild life we have up north here.

Probably a small air leak in the system and some fuel drained back and required a bit of re-priming of the system.....that would be my guess.
well thanks to Oliver, I was able to replace my busted cab light housing over the weekend. Other then the bulb being burnt out it all looks right again. I'm going to have to clean them with scotchbrite or something as they all look weathered and the one oliver sent is a little more weathered then the rest. Any tips on what to use to clean them and if spraying with some clear would be worth while?

painting them is what I would do If I had them. It protects them from the sun deteriorating them.
I can't recall wher Mark moved to.
is it somewhere cool to vacation, maybe somewhere we can stay and eat his food and shower and stink up his bathroom, ya know just a short couple week stay among friends.
