Lol

Glad to see winter leave us.
Wiiiinteeeer??? What's that? We are slated to hit 100 degrees in a day or 2. We only have 2 seasons, hot and not hot, but we are about to lose one of them...Mark

Working outside all day today in 94* Commiefornia heat. Hopefully, by mid May, I’ll be making my first trailer load EAST, before those 110*+ days give me heat stroke!

Installed a new "Made in USA" front parking brake cable and hand washed the truck for the first time in 2018.

II have replaced my cables so many times, that I've resorted to buying dodge dealer cables. So far, they are the only ones to last more than a couple years Here in the land of rust.

Cool they are making them here again

I just thought of that when I was taking my nap. I'll have to remember to check it tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me.

Replaced the power steering high pressure hose after coating a buddies driveway in fluid backing my toy hauler in during our stop over before heading up to Riverside to race motocross. The hose had a pinhole in it and was a easy change except for the one fitting that I swear must be 18 or 18.5mm, i had no wrenches that fit!

It is an 18, I know exactly what you are talking about. If you look at cheap metric wrench sets, like at Harbor Freight, they have no 18mm or 16mm wrench. What's up with that? Also, the socket kits come with a 5,5mm socket. I always wondered about that until I started working on Mercedes cars. Some of the least accessible bolts on MB's are 5.5mm, go figure...Mark

A 5/8 is close enough for most 16mm applications. The 18 however is all its own.

Yeah, you're right. I was installing some quick connects to my compressor system the other day and was using some 1/2" copper fittings, with what are supposed to be 3/4" hex on them. They were so poorly made, that I could not find a wrench, sae or metric that fit. I had to use an adjustable wrench, so much for quality control...Mark

Was it a metric adjustable or SAE adjustable?

I also just replaced my power steering hose and transmission A2F cooler hoses last week,
I replaced to 2 steel lines using 1/2" TOC hose.

This thing has over 25 feet of TOC hose on it to connect all of the coolers.

You are right about the of oddball fitting on the back of the steering pump, although I did have the wrench.

You're just the "belts and suspenders" kind of guy ...
