What did you do to your Gen 1 today?
Haha priorities fellas! They say shortening the shifters can cause you to have trouble shifting. The shorter it is the faster you'll go from one hole to another. If the engine doesn't drop rpms fast enough you won't make a smooth gear change.
Regardless I plan on shortening it some lol

with a signature line like that, we need to see massive amounts of pictures and build info!!!
Today was somewhat productive, albeit a bit rainy....
Took trash to the dump
Adjusted rear brakes
Installed winter tires
greased the front prop shaft and steering / kingpin assemblies
Then came the fabricating....
Made myself a "fan clutch" tool.
Used it to remove the fan and shroud, but then I couldn't get the bolts off the harmonic balancer. I ordered a High Torque ratchet to see if that will work, otherwise, I have to pull the radiator out, which is what I'm trying to avoid......
Oh well.... there's always tomorrow.

Another option is to use a small hand-sledge hammer and chisel on a corner of the nut. usually you have to hold the pully somehow as well if you plan on using non-impact torque. You'll replace the fan clutch and nut before it gets buggered up enough to be compromised in any way, no matter how many times you need to remove it. IIRC, the nut is a 33mm.
Others have used an air hammer with chisel.
