That is a nice looking crew cab.
The damage seems minimal from that picture…It was un-driveable after the accident?

Finished the mounting plate for the hydroboost and got it cleaned, painted and bolted on. Had my daughter pumping the brakes to bleed the master then the lines. Still waiting on the 24v 2nd gen pump, reservoir and hydro lines so I drove the truck out of the shop and into the storage shed. Brakes feel better with just manual brakes!!

I was driving snowball the other day around town, and I put on the old vacuum booster and MC from Patches after the HB conversion. What a huge difference in braking....any pick up truck, regardless of gas or diesel power, should be running Hydrobosst braking system.

Guess that spare HB unit I rebuilt and have squired away will be finding it's way onto snowball sooner then later.

Yeah they are so much better than the vacuum booster. I have to really think about what I am doing when I drive my wife's Cherokee. As light as it is my 1942 ****** MB will out stop the 1987 Cherokee by a wide margin.

My CUCV (86 K30) could lock up 37x14" wide AT tires if I stood on the brakes.

It is defiantly on my list of things to do to move it over to the Dodge.

Probably bring the front Dana 60 with it

Got some axle and brake parts ordered for my rear shoe conversion.
Amazon 2 day delivery!

Pulled my heaviest load to date: 10k pound 33' 5th wheel camper. The weight wasn't really the concern as much the location. It had been setting in the woods for a decade and it had to be pulled up a decent grade of loose rock thrown down over loose woods dirt. I put new rubber on it so that I wouldn't have to worry about blowouts but the brakes hadn't been tested. Hooked to it in 4low and pulled right out. Never spun a tire. And turns the brakes worked great! Much better stopping ability than my 16' jeep trailer.

You can't tell it but the photo of me hitched on the gravel, about 3 feet in front of my truck there is a 14" tall ledge that I had to go up.
