What did you do to your Gen 1 today?
Hopefully with a new pig valve and some other timing work it is all fixed now. Just a couple months of healing and I'll be back wrenching on the old Dodge.

I was okay today until I turned my, drum fans off. Within 15 minutes my body temperature rose to the point I started to feel odd. The heat in my neck and, head was enormous, and I placed a cold water towel on my neck. It wasn't fun, and I would last about 3 minutes in a "death valley" environment. I have zero ability to deal with 100+ degree heat.
You can, keep the heat. I'm moving north as soon as my wife allows.
I wish I could but at 69 with Afib, a failing Mitral Valve and becoming heart failure my options were limited. The local witch doctor wasn't seeing any new patients.

Oink!
No more bacon
I started in using polishing compound on my whole truck this afternoon...The parts I did yesterday to clean up the surfaces after debadging looked so much better than the rest, I figured, "Sure, why not"...So working outside under a 94° sun in 80% humidity was no picnic, but doing 5 on/20 off shifts I got the roof, one corner of the cab and part of a door finished before I had enough...I'll start earlier tomorrow...

Thanks, me too!
I thought you lived up north in the snow country. Here in SoCal if we want to see snow we drive to the mountains. When we get tired of it we go home.
I used to live in Tampa so I know all about the war of northern aggression.

towed the travel trailer over the weekend. Actually pretty satisfied with how the old truck did. She was a bit of a dog on the back twisty/hilly roads but when I was on the highway, it towed at 65 MPH and probably could have done more but I was at my comfort level. I think I still have some bleeding to do on the brakes. Noticed the pedal "Falling" slightly when I was trying to hold still at a light or intersection. This became less prominent when I got the brake controller tuned better and actually had trailer brakes helping more so then when I started.
Got my bed buffed .Glass guy came and put some sealant around my new windshield Monday .Washed it last night no leaks .Got to put tail lights in door panels on get inspected molding on then take her for a Ride and c what else is wrong
