Defiantly will be a mod soon. Not sure why the seal popped out with stock lift pump and being new.. Just one of those things I guess.

I have done this to both of my VE pumps, for my piece of mind, when I put on piston lift pumps with 18 LB. springs in them.
That's STICKY WORTHY....

You need to do a write up on that with pix..... Otherwise, I'm sending Papecat over to your house to light up a paper bag of dog doo on your front porch.....

Lord knows how much he loves to light crap on fire......

did you cut the door to weld that in flush, or does it sit on top of door, hard to tell

I saw some pictures and a short write up of how a guy cut the doors but I can't find it. it was in a build thread I think.
Seems like he used 3/4" thin wall tube. I know there was some cutting but I don't remember just how much.

A straight edge and a good ruler would tell.

if i cut it so its near flush, then it should not interfere with door panel i would think.

Yeah, I think so too. as long as everything inside clears and it is flush with he front to rear surfaces of the door you should be golden.

His name was "wheelieking".

and yes, I did the mod when he posted it originally. He was a decent fella, but didn't like being goofed on. Thin skin, took it personally and never saw him again (or should I say read him again). Been a few like that here.....but then life goes on...

Great mod.

Flush with the door panel. I used 1/2" square tube, and it worked great. makes a HUGE difference in the feel of the door. Worth the time to do...

Either look up wheelieking or spend way too much time looking through my old threads...

Either way, it's in here somewhere.

That guy. Was brilliant in some of theworkhe did. Too bad he didn't have the ability to take any criticism about anything or field off ( all in jest ) goofy jokes at his expense. I guess brilliance and bunched up pink panties make for a toxic combination.

Same "dude" as the guy I bought the Guantlet from out in AZ.
Looks like he just changed his "name" after being Banned as "Wheelieboy"
