You'll see it all come together. This replaces the freeze plug in the rear of the block and will allow the plumbing of a coolant bypass which relieves the excess pressure at the rear of the block in the higher RPM range.

After a month of down time resealing the pump, tabbing the KDP and lock tightening the other cover bolts the truck is back together and runs perfectly. I bled the pump and injectors on two different days about a week apart while I worked on other things truck and house related and today put the radiator, belt and grill back on.

Within 4 seconds of turning the key the motor fired off. It hiccuped one or two cylinders momentarily and then purred like a kitten within seconds. No leaks of any kind and to me sounds quieter. Maybe 24 year old rubber o rings had something to do with it.

I can't tell you how many online VE reseal threads I looked at but want to thank everyone who's ever written a question about rebuilding or a build thread because I promise you I read them and they helped!

That is great news...so glad it fired up with no issues! Can't compare that feeling....

It's also great to see someone who is willing to put the time and effort into researching their project, before they dive in. And to have the perseverance to keep at it until the job is done "right".

Neatened up the coolant heater hoses with swivel clamps, flex coils, etc etc

Put in an NOS radiator at the same time.

Why do your coolant lines cross to the drivers side?
Do you have an APU?

Inquiring mind wants to know.

It's the lines running to and from his Webasto aux heater.(I'll answer in case he doesn't see this)

I pulled the '91.0 into the shop and started prepping it for the summer on the road.
I drained the engine oil, checked out fluid levels and will grease all fittings up before putting it on the road as soon as the salt trucks lay off it for a few good rain storms.

Little progress made this weekend. My family decided to surprise me with a birthday party yesterday. Picked up a bottoming tap on Friday. Earlier this evening, I put the billet freeze plugs in.

Very nice...

I didn't get a party on saturday. I just got taken out to dinner, which is way better, as far as I'm concerned....

Been on here for a little bit but I've never had anything to say but I figured id share the stuff that I have been up to now.

Yesterday I went and looked at a parts truck for my current W250. The parts truck is a D350 with kelderman air ride and 78,XXX miles. No motor or bed on it and those stacks don't come with either

Comes with a getrag and everything else associated with a rolling chassis. I am trading him my 1994 Polaris Sportsman 400 for the truck, 4" turbo back DE, and a 7" cat stack. My plan is to swap the rear axle (same gear ratio) and the kelderman. Drivers door, driver side fender (small quarter size rust hole that I'm going to fix), and ALOT of interior parts, then part out the rest of it. The truck is 90% rust free, the fenders have rust. Hopefully it'll be a good buy/trade.

Heres some pics of the truck for anyone who likes pics

Air ride looks home made to me. I can't see enough of it to tell how is is made. It looks like the bags and lower support are just hanging there. From what i can see it doesn't look good. the top bag supports also look pretty shaky too.JMHO

Its the kelderman kit that is attached to the hitch. It comes with the 2" receiver in the kit. Ive heard good things about them from all that one read
