Hillbilly used the stock Chevy/GMC sleeve ES362S but I felt it was a little too short for my comfort zone so I got a 6" solid one and jam nuts from Parts mike.
PM-DOM Threaded Tube - custom length tierod/draglink
It wasn't the cheapest way to go but I think it works out in the long run.
I did have to ream the pitman and steering arms to get the nuts on far enough for the cotter pins to go in. lucky I already had the reamer.
the regular stock tie rod ends should work without reaming but using a longer tube.
Reamer I bought 10 years ago.Buy Tapered Reamer - WILD HORSES 4X4 & Off-Road Parts
and some helpful rod end info.

What to do a diesel conversion on my 1975 crew cab short bed 4 wheel drive truck got a 1993 extended cab long bed truck want to take my cab and bed and set on it extended cab chassis would it work?
Use the "search" button and look for crewcab builds.....the questions you ask are all answered in those threads, and there are a number of them.
I couldn't say but it seems like someone on the board is doing just that.
I answered your question there.
Today was a pretty good day. I got my repainted rear Ac pump bracket back on I had to take it off to get the heater hose fitting out. then I put the old fuse box cover back on (temporarily) and tied the wires up and away from the pedals. then I painted the lower air deflector for the heater/AC. After that I finished cleaning up the double cardon parts for my front driveline. that being done I decided to spend 15 minutes with the old DA and the wire wheel on the bench grinder the clean up the driveline. 15minutes because I already had the yokes cleaned up.
Finally got around to the last piece of my steering. I found the 13/16 splined Spicer series 1000 yoke in the pto parts box. I had to grind .150 off the front(steering gear) end to make it fit with enough clearance. The rest is upside down parts pilfered form an old GMC bread van. that way I could use parts I had. The only new part is the u-joint.
Nice U-joint steering shaft. I can't help but notice the generator. You are tucked away in a nice spot for a poop hits the fan bunker. The Jubilee year ends oct 2nd and with everything else going on geopolitically and economically this fall, I don't blame you for prepping.
LOL, knowing you, you could find a way.............. Seriously, it will look good.
