I'm interested in your speedi sleeves for your spindles....I have some wear in my spindles as well and just thought I would have to buy new spindles.

Could you post some info and pics of your repair.

Ill get some pictures tomorrow. the one I used is an SKF 99272. It is a little short but the 99275 is a little long.If I were to do it over I think I would use the longer one and file it to fit.
I will also post some pictures of the tool I made to drive it on with.

Crap ! I completely forgot the pictures. I did exactly what Jim did here but I had to reduce the end of the pipe. I will post the pictures of the tool and how I made it.

Here is where I am at now. all back together. I got the Chevy master cylinder and front brake lines plumbed and bled.
I also made a better brake bleeder for my Mity-vac. the one that comes in the kit isn't all that great. mine is a little heaver so it stays put better and is clear so it is easier to see what is happening. I think there is some air in the system so I will go back and bleed it again after it all settles down.

Progress looks real nice, Mark. Love seeing that R/R steering setup, too.

A little more for today. I have been working in this cover for a while.
It is beginning to look like it will work. It still needs some tuning and some filling.
Bear in mind that the stock one is waaaay out of wack.
I haven't figured out how to do the clip on the bottom yet. Maybe a small hinge ,remove the pin and use a small hitch pin to get the fuse box out.

Why not bend the bottom to the angle of the bottom of the dash (or add another piece to it, drill two holes, and screw upwards into the dash ends ? or some new fastening point.

That extra "bend" at the bottom would create significant rigidity in that piece of steel..

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks "T"
