Looks good, the different height 4x4 shifter handles is a nice touch.
I also like the look of what appears to be a magnetic bracket for your plow controller.
Seems to keep small drill bits, punches and such from getting lost too.
Since I am well over 6 ft, the plow controller mounted to the dash is just a knee basher waiting to happen.

Thanks Oliver -- the plow control basically on the seat where I rest my right hand is by far the most comfortable to me . . . and back when I was friskier, I'd just take the controller out of the cab for the summer. But now I use the magnet to hold misc. tools, as you mentioned, and most importantly, a pair of super-fine tweezers!
The taller lever let me space the two closer together & still have room to grab the *****. I think I had all that in the truck when I came up to see you a couple of years ago though?

Nothing wrong with free sheet metal. I patched the rotted out DS floor pan in my cousin's CJ7 with a piece of metal I cut out of the side of a drier that he was junking. I did that in 1997 or so and it's still holding. I pop riveted it in so I wouldn't burn the enamel off of it.

The best part of the stuff I got is it never made it to paint.
Not to derail this thread, but can someone explain just how a twin stick works ?
Is there a special transfer case that's being used ?
Is this the boot you would use ?

The 2 sticks make it so you can choose cool gearing options like 2L.
You use the same stock NP-205.
If you look at your NP-205 it has two "rods" that operate the gearing selection.
They are connected to one bar that your stock 4x4 linkage is connected to.
Using the twin sticks each rod is operated by each shifter linkage / lever.

And a bonus is easier shifting because you are shifting only one side at a time.
A lot of people use that boot but I will be making my own( I have an industrial sewing machine too
) because I need the shifter boot as well. I also found some ***** that all match. This is the basic idea. pretty simple really.

Ever since reading about a twin stick NP205 I've kind of really wanted one. But having to modify the floor to make room for the shifters was the killer for me. But the way Alec did his I am now reconsidering it...Seriously!!
Any chance we could get some pics of your shifter mechanism from under the truck?
I think I am now on the hunt for all the parts required to do this modification....Right like I needed ANOTHER project....

Just went looking around that link you posted for those shifters...JB-Custom-Fabrication....These caught my eye right away!!

Adjustable shift detent kit....so you can adjust how easily, or hard you want to be able to shift your NP205....Friggin brilliant!!
I will be ordering a set of those very soon.

Oh, so correct me if I'm wrong.
One lever does from 2 high to 4 high, and the other does 2 low or 4 low ?
IOW, you can disconnnect the front axle or the rear axle depending on how conditions are requiring it.
I HATE my shifter, as it's always bound by torque binding pressure, and a real PITA to shift. When I'm plowing, I'm forever shifting from 4 high to 4 low, and it's constantly bound by the torque pressure, even if I back up first.
is it easily accomplished while everything is in the truck ?

T-Man...you asking how hard it would be to swap in those adjustable shift detent kit? If so, then yes you could do it while it's in the truck.
Twin stick...not sure...but I would think you should be able to do everything without removing the tranny, or TC. Just remove your front driveshaft, and that should give you lots of room to get the shifters, and linkage all sorted out.

Easy to tell the sticks apart by feel.
