Looks good.

Just to make you feel better, think of it like this, you didn't add waves, you added strength....... You wouldn't want to drive around with perfectly flat floors, the bouncing would be terrible......

Now, when you get to the outer panels....

Thanks Pat,
I didn't add the waves they were already there factory installed My 52GMC has a flat front section that I build but I made a square tube subframe to add strength and reduce vibration.

Why didn't you pull the door seals and paint under those as well?

That and the back of the cab will be the next paint adventure.
This time I was experimenting with thinning the paint to brush it on. I wasn't so sure how it would go on a vertical surface. Good thing too the first coat got some runs in it after I was done and went in for the night.
Also with the dash apart I have some scratches from moving the right side out to get to the Hvac unit.

I haven't been able to get any vary long spurts to work on it lately so I have been picking things that don't take too long.

Not much picture worthy today. I worked at getting ready to take the transmission out when I get to that point I got the cooler lines loose and draining( another reason I don't like automatic transmissions) and fought the shift linkage off and drained the pan. I did this while I waited for some metal prep to soak the mill scale off a part I made to repair a broken mount on my HVAC box. I will post a picture when I decide what my next step will be.

I am also thinking about making a "cleanout "door while I have it apart.

For an HVAC cleanout this is the one I'll be using. I had the rectangular plate and screws before...but this one is so much cleaner looking!

Easy to install too. They are cheaper than I thought too.

But you have lots of yellow spray paint to fix that right?
I haven't seen any new yellow parts for your truck in a while...
