1990 D250 to W250
set it on the ground and turned it around. Lucky the stock driveline hooked up without any monkeying around. All I needed was to make a 5 point turn to get it close to where I wanted it.
Ahh that stink bug rake from the 80's...looks good. Maybe you should just leave it as a retro look....
But you did move it again under it's own power....now comes the harder part....

Mark,
How's the meat and potatoes roasting ? Been a while since you talked about your conversion stew. Not saying I'm not enjoying your diversionary tactics of cleaning up that pristine rust free frame. Just wondering when we're going to get a bit of that soup on a plate ???

funny thing is when I was backing off the ramps I was thinking I can't wait to see how this thing looks jacked up in the back
It beats wire wheeling, brushing and sanding. Even if it is harder.

I don't really mind all of the above but the break will be nice.

I have one more diversionary tactic up my sleeve. The interior of the cab
(insert evil laugh.) I have to take it apart enough to replace the transmission hump.

Depends on the stew, and how chunky it is. Some of the stew I've eaten, you've needed a fork to feed the pie hole. The juice on the plate gets given to the dog, and since she cleans the plate so well, I can just put the plate back in the cupboard when she's done..

I spent the morning disassembling my dash to get the HAVAC unit out.And found some of my rattles. It appears that torque Harris ( Along story but he had a habit of stretching bolts) assembled the dash on my truck The heater control, the ashtray cover and the HAVAC are damaged from over tightening screws and bolts. the heater control is toast. Both ends are broken but I think I have one. and horror of horrors the RWAL module was broken off its mount and was sitting on top of the HAVAC box.
So it looks like I have some fun ahead
I was looking at my spare insterment bezel. the wood grain is coming off So I am toying with the idea of painting it hammered black with light silver metallic where the faux chrome was. You see I don't have enough to do already.

Sorry I missed a word there the HAVAC control the original one was broken from an over zealous assembler. There is a bunch of stuff I need to fix for this reason. the plastic to plastic screws were as tight as metal to metal screws should be and the metal to metal screws. Well I am still working on that.
