Thanks man! It's not going to be easy to keep it clean with my leaky oil pan. I need to get my other engine repainted to match and installed!

Thanks Jim! I know... I wish I had clear wheels or something so I could look at it all the time!

Thanks man! The first gen forum over here is much better anyway, IMO. It's tough with the 50mm lens I have, it doesn't zoom at all. With the truck parked in the shop these were the best I could do, and I had to get in some interesting positions to get some of these shots

Wow,

that's one clean front suspension... for now anyway.

All those parts powder coated ? What leaf springs are you using, and are they lifted ?

Nice work.

LOL not bad for a 50mm. I just bought a 12-28mm super wide but I don't think I will be taking many truck pictures with it.
I like over here better.

Wait…after reading your new signature, when was your old '90 Cummins wrecked?? That was a cool looking rig. What does the new W-250 look like?

It's going to be some work to keep it clean, that's for sure! Not powder coated, didn't feel like dishing out that kind of coin haha. They're primered, painted, and like 5 coats of clear on everything though!

Not sure on the leaf springs, they were on the truck when i bought it. I was told it was a 2" lift

Thanks man, I really appreciate that! I wrecked the '90 almost exactly three years ago, the night before Thanksgiving actually. Here's the new one

60D is a nice camera I was looking at one just after they came out but ended up buying a 7D.
One of the most Canon knowledgeable guys on a photography board told me the 18-135 STM is a great all around lens.

Been friggin cold up here the last week or so, seeing -28*C or colder in the mornings. Just serviced the truck about 1000km's ago, but My mind set on my engine oil was still thinking I was down on the coast where we were lucky to have one or two days in the -15 to -20*C the entire winter. So I was running the rotella 15W40, and the last 3 days it has been getting colder every night, this morning it was -28*C at my truck, and it was plugged in all night and the grid heaters still came on and were running! But the oil pressure has been taking longer and longer to build up...5-10 sec with little or no oil pressure.....Scary stuff!

So today I went down and bought a pail of Rotella T-6 5W40 synthetic engine oil, and from my research it seems that this is a pretty good oil for the cold areas. Drained out the old conventional oil and filled it with the synthetic. We will see what the motor does when I fire it up tomorrow.
