SEMA news?
I went to the bomber board to check for SEMA news & the Northwest Bomber Board is missing in action.
Anyone have any idea what happened to that site?

That was the weirdest thing , my favorites was taking me to a completely different site.
I even did a search on goggle & it also took me to the same completely different site.
I tried a search on my sons computer , it also took me to that site.
Now , my favorites is working. And the Diesel Bombers Site comes up fine.
People wonder why I drink !!!
thanks,doug

The 1ton diesel tundra concept truck was there, it looks like a the big 3 trucks mixed together, and had a inline 6 that sure looked like a 03 to 07 cummins but was a hino 8L

True, but only to a point...
Why is it possible to get more max power from a 440 Dodge than a 508 Cadi? Or a 455 Pontiac or Olds? I'm not a Mopar guy (except for the CTD) but the reality is from all the power shootouts, the 440 usually wins.
Anyway, with the Hino, it really is a true medium duty diesel meant for grunt (check out the redlines), the D-max and P-stroke are more "performance" diesels... I guess we fall somewhere in the middle. Anyway, I'm pretty sure without knowing all the particulars of that Hino that there would be way too much rotating mass at the bottom to make it do what we like to do.

Those semi truck pullers can get over 5k RPM out of 14+ liter engines that redline at around 2k factory, so a large rotating mass is nothing to a large checkbook. Unless your a public school you can do anything if you throw enough money at it.
