Air Lift or Firestones?

Which bags are better and why? Are there problems/known failures with one brand over the other?

I'm planning on getting a system with a compressor and dash controller.

I have put firestones on 4 of my trucks.. The have always worked good, I have recommended them to others. For the price, they really help those with cab over campers...

My buddy had Air Lift on his truck and he could never get the fittings to stop leaking so his compressor was working overtime, I put firestone on my truck and never had a problem. So I would say Firestone.

Wow, it's unanimous. I'll go with the Stones.

Thank you all for your input.

I have Air Lifts w/ no issues in 3 years, quality depends on the installer. You will not have leaks if you follow the directions!

I had a shop in town that sold the Air-Lifts. He would send his customers to me. Easy kit to install, no leaks. I like where the upper bracket mounts to original bump stop. 'Stones may be the same, not sure. No problems to speak of. Each kit I'm sure is as good as the other, just availability makes the decision.

I have the Firestones, absolutely great, easy to install. I would certainly buy them again.

Hellwig makes air bags too. I dont know anything about them except the bag has a more progressive flex. I did a search on here and could only find one mention of this brand. Anyone know more?

The firestones have better brackets, the bags are the same. I have airlift and I'd buy the firestones if I had to do it again.
