II boost question

II boost question
Got a good deal on a phat shaft 66 turbo and am goin to put it on with the mods in my sig. The boost is set to 40lbs n i was wondering if thats gonna be alright til i do the fuel system n studs this spring

I run 45 lbs with a 62 without studs for awhile. With stock injectors it will probably be hard to get 40 lbs out of a 66 though. I would put it on and look for some stix cause that's alot of turbo for stock stix. Just make sure it is up to operating temp before you get on it.

Are you running a SPS66 or a PS66???
If your running the SPS, then anything up to 48psi is within it's MAP and DP won't be an issue.
If it's the PS, then your gonna have DP issues above 42-44psi. The PS hs a 65mm wheel and a 12cm housing which CR's will easily push DP ratio above 1.5:1.
