With the GV whats your top speed not at @3200rpm?
I need to add 60lb valve springs to my list. I'll have much better times shifting less and being able to run thru the traps in 4th gear. That means launch in 2nd, shift to 3rd and then a quick jump to 4th.

it bolts to the output of the trans and shifts electronicaly. Basicaly its an external 25% overdrive. So if 3rd gear is 1:1 then with the GV your final ratio is 0.75:1. Really great units and will hold all the power you could ever make, and they will increase your mpg pretty good too. Only down side is there hefty price tag.

Now thats a really good question! I think its around 500, but really not sure. We should do a First Gen sticky for dyno and drag times. Have a list that shows single turbo, compound turbos, fuel only, water meth, N2O, ect......Most of the other truck and performance forums have them, and our old VE pumped motors are WAY different than the rest of the crowd.

Well its in and its running So far so good, but I did have some problems getting the pump gear set where I wanted it to Now I just need to put some miles on it so we can do a re torque on the head. If all goes well we can do the re torque and then I can flip the valet switch and get a feel for where it might be. When I left the shop last night and took it for the first drive all I can say is it feels like it really wants to go.... It feels strong even though I am limiting it to 20#'s of boost until the re torque. Only a couple of more weekends until I find out if it was worth it. I still have to put the hitch in my 06 so I can pull the trailer down there so I am not done yet.

Sweet, can't wait to see what it does! Any reason why your still running the stock intercooler tubes and air horn?
On another note what is the record for a 12mm pump single charger truck.
Might be a little shake up with that record in 2 weeks.
