Stomp I feel your pain in the cam gear walk except I never caught it in time and the cam snapped right behind the retainer and bent several pushrods and couple of valves. No biggie though just sending head to machine shop and getting all checked out and then also taking oppurtunity to upgrade to F1's Spartan Billet Steel Cam. So maybe spool twins even faster than they already do.

I ordered a hitch for the 06 so I guess we still need to get that done before we head to Vegas for May Maddness. We also sent off my injectors back to DDP to get honed out an additional 4LPM. Stomp
Well I figured nothing is to good for the old girl so Ponci decided that we are going to redo the twin piping. I also spent last weekend cleaning up the wires and putting them in a split loom. I guess DDP called about the injectors today and we are going to have them punched out just a wee bit more. It might help, but until we get it on the dyno who knows???? The motor is in and bolted up and almost ready to go.

Ponci assembled the motor and it will be going in this weekend. The new cam was drilled and tapped so this problem shouldnt happen again. Vegas here we come.

Those DDP injectors you're running, I assume they are the "Competition" injectors? Are they the 75lpm ones (soon to be 79lpm I take it?). If so, do you like them more than a 6x0.016" or similar?

I hope not, there's few enough of our trucks left as it is. No need to destroy another one. Good on you for taking it to the edge though, 'where no 1st gen. has gone before.'! 
Need to change your user name to JDyno since it seems the old 3 speed will never make it to a 1/4 mile track. LOL
I'm not shooting for any crazy dyno numbers, but I WILL set the record for fastest manual VE truck this year!!!!! I'm off work for the next 6 weeks and spending most every day working on the old truck getting it ready. If the getrag and D70 hold together I'll hit 12's for sure......
I'll redyno it after I hit 12's and see what it took to get there.
