Who's going for the Record??
The record was set in 2005 and I wont get to dyno before Vegas so if you break it before then it will give me something to look forward too. I am going to do a re-torque this weekend, change the oil and then I will be able to start increasing the boost. I should have a good seat of pants dyno before I leave town next week.

Mike (our feature editor) told me that they said in their letters section that 350 hp was possible with a simple p-pump swap
So much for it being a "real" 1st gen....
I need to fix some stuff that's rigged up too, my last run caught some of the underhood insulation on fire

Good to see you're running on the ragged edge, setting things on fire!
It's pretty awe inspiring to me to see how much work and engineering you guys put in to getting so much power out of these engines. Keep it up, and thanks for taking the rest of us along for the ride!

Preliminary results from the SOP meter tells me that on fuel only it feels almost as good as the old motor when the nitrous was on.
I am making progress, but there are still a few more things I still need to do before I put it on the dyno. If Ponci stops selling me stuff for the tow rig we would probably be done by now.
I dont know why I waited so long to buy a newer pickup.
We will be leaving for Vegas next Thursday, but we will be breaking up the trip and staying in Reno Thursday night. We will proceed to Vegas on Friday and then we will be staying all of the next week for May Madness. We will be staying at the Silverton Casino in an 800 square ft. suite with a hot tub overlooking the pool and a full wet bar full of my favorite drink. There is also an attached room for my best friend Brad Ponci who also happens to be my mechanic. An area will be coned off for my pickup and trailer and it will have some dedicated security guards watching it.
We are going to flip a coin to see who is staying in the suite.
Now that’s what I call living life as a high roller.
