Sorry to hear about that man. Have you had a chance to tear into it yet?

Me I haven't done anything to my truck in a few weeks, got some parts I'm waiting to put on it. Bought a beater for a new DD to be able to work on the truck more, but now don't have the time to work on it.

Last night I …
I cut down a 2nd gen intercooler pipe for the passenger side of my intercooler swap on my crew cab and got it all in and looking sharp.
Adjusted the rubber mounts for the upper intercooler brackets by shimming them out more.
Hooked up rad over flow bottle, cleaned up the pyro wires and boost tubes with zip ties -just little under the hood stuff.
Installed my new 4 inch DE down pipe.

Tonight I would like to get the battery tray back in after trimming it down for I/C pipe clearance.
I have some rear inner door panels to install I got over the winter as well.
Hopefully I get get some of the dash buttoned back up as well.

working on the winch bumper again. I found that my CNC table cut exactly as I programmed. Too bad I made the fiel two inches too short on the top side. I had to cut it out and make some new parts. I will weld it up tomorrow. I measured once, put in to the cad and made a cutpath. I should have measured twice, Lol.

What did I do today ?????

The same FREAKING THING I"VE DONE 3 TIMES ALREADY !!!

GD CHINESE JUNK !!!

No, I'm not mad.... I'm furious. These manufacturers of parts for our trucks make such crap that fails within a year of installation. They all should be SHOT ON SITE...

How many times am I going to replace my rear brake cables ? I bought Autozone cheapos, another set from Advance, Another set from Raybestos, and today, I have to waste a half day going to Napa to buy, yet another set. Why can't they make these POS junk parts a little better ??

I guess the evil plan to force us to buy new vehicles is slowly working on me...

Tman, I have had the same problem.
I finally replaced mine with a couple pieces of 4x4 scrap wood off the jobsite with a 45* bevel on one end, better known as a chock

Well, I spent just about all day replacing both rear cables, between disassembly, driving all over the place for the parts, and replacing them. What a pita. Luckily, the drums aren't trashed as of yet, although they're a little out of round. Wonderful, considering I just freaking replaced them last year when I put new cables in.

Both Cables were filled with water. Considering I don't go driving through streams, I guess it's just a result of the bs crapola we're made to deal with. I found one cable from Dodge, but haven't found the passenger side. We'll see how long these junk napa ones I have in here now will last. My guess.... till the winter when the water they get filled with freezes the cables solid.

Junk is a boat, yes, but it's also synonymous with the word "CHINA".

Never seen that before? What kind of alignment?

I soak my E-brake cables in a bucket of used motor oil, for a few days, before I install them. You also have to make sure that the cables, where they sit in the bracket in front of the wheel on the drivers side, are pointing downwards. I shim them up with some Styrofoam and zip tires. That way any water that gets into them will usually drain out.
