"It doesn't hurt anything here and nobody sees it behind the seat".

Uploaded some pics, now awaiting approval.
Pulling some small dents, resealing drip rails, and getting ready to paint the cab. Be in Auburn tomorrow, so I have to take a day off. Granddaughter's Kindergarten Graduation Ya Know.

Horns

I started the install of some train horns. The tank and compressor are mounted, I have the trumpets ready for installation, Wiring to the compressor is done, wiring to the blow solenoid is about 75% done. Waiting on some stuff from Amazon and the interior part will be the end.

Here is a shop air (90 psi) test

It was so loud I had to put my pinky finger in my ear and shake it...

BTW It normally operates at 150psi

Went to the jy on Saturday and cut the trans tunnel out of a RC to make my own removable tunnel cover. I also scored a steering box support bracket and an un-cracked steering box to frame adapter plate from the same RC. Got home and cut the opening in my truck's trans tunnel.

Yes, I need my first project. This truck has never been touched except for brakes at 85k, and the head liner fell down. I don't understand why so many people hate Dodge. I've had all three brands and have had the best luck with this one!!!

People are funny that way. They dislike things for no reason sometimes. other times they get a bad one and think they are all bad.

Today,

I picked up materials from one of our local shipping companies warehouses, then I towed my dump trailer to the recycling center a few towns over. While walking back out to my truck, after getting paid for my "recycling", a guy in a mid 1990's F Diesel pickup (extended cab with short bed), started yelling out his window at me....

"HEY.... is that your First Gen ????"

I laughed and said... "Yes"...

he said..

"Man, that thing is sweet !!!!! "

I laughed again, and jumped in the truck to get out of the rain....

Even Ford guys love our Old Dodges....
