Holy Dodge Soot Bat Man!!! AFAIK there is only one Dauphin County in the US (dunno about Canada) and it's right across the river from Perry County where I live. Looking at the upper right corner, this ticket was issued in Swatara Township. I drive through there all the time to go to Harbor Freight. Swatara PD is about 1/4 mile from HF on the same road.
Hehehe...small world! I'd be curious to know who it was.

All I’ve done with mine today is plug it in and then drove it across town to feed some goats and horses. Now I’m sitting here thinking about getting a auto meter pillar pod and z series gauges (pyro and trans temp). Truck is tuned super close to stock (just the old time 12 valve mechanic I took it to guessing), but it has a hx35 just like what a second gen would come with. I have a spare turbo sitting on the shelf that is a hx35 with some upgrades. Not sure what all is different with it as it came with the truck when I bought it. The previous owner said it was wastegated a few psi higher and that it had a upgraded main shaft. I’m guessing the compressor side is upgraded too. Not sure though. I kinda want to keep that for when the current turbo gives up. As soon as I get gauges and get them installed I think I’m going to try turning the pre-boost fueling screw one turn and see what that does. Truck barely hazes a little when I floor it from a stop now, so I’m guessing I have a little room for improvement. I use the truck as a daily driver and for towing and I live where it’s a hill (and a long one), to get anywhere. I use the truck as a daily driver and for towing and hauling so I don’t want to make it run too hot. Gauges are more just a precaution hopefully. I don’t want to make the truck smoke much, in fact I want it to smoke as little as possible, but I feel like I’m pushing it too hard now. Seems like I have to have the turbo screaming to accelerate much at all and to go up any hill. I don’t want it to smoke to where it makes people mad every time I take off. I also don’t want to sacrifice longevity or reliability, so I plan to get gauges and then turn the “smoke screw” about a turn at a time until I get smoke and then back it off a little. Depending what it runs like then I may turn up the fuel screw a little, but I don’t want to have to worry about egts too much. I know smoke comes with power, but I’m not looking to go crazy. The desire for Just a little more sounds like a bit of a trap however .

I'm up near Amity Hall just north of Duncannon. There are a few 1st Gens around but not many. I saw a nice one pull out of the TSC in Newport this summer but never saw it again. There are a couple gassers that I see pretty regularly. Red Hill Auto sales in Newport has a white regular cab W250 "rust free" for $12,500.00 firm. Seems a bit steep to me.
Shoot me a PM next time your going to PECO and we'll grab a beer somewhere! Possibly the Doyle Hotel in Duncannon.

Finally pulled the trigger on a turbo, intake and hx40 downpipe. 16+ years is long enough to wait!

Replaced pin and bushings on the passenger door today, as well as the striker pin in the door jamb. Stupid cheapo pins plastic bushing lasts about a year before it falls off. At least they're cheap..
Sealed up my "goober" cargo bracket to the body.

The order for the downpipe got canceled. Couldn't ship to my address. I'm thinking it's not smog n@zi approved in Commiefornia, so it's now getting shipped to a co-worker that lives in Reno. Jerks, it's not like there's a cat getting deleted!

"Our trucks are exempt from Smog checks in CA."
That's true, but they still ban certain parts unless the manufacturer pays for the testing and certification. It's a racket I tell ya.
