Having grown up in SE Kansas, which is way too close to Arkansas, we never got that much snow usually. We got lots of freezing rain Ice storms and black ice. You need to make sure your RWAL brake system is working unless you like to swap ends forward when you're trying to stop.
That is unless you're like me who knows how to do it properly.
I washed the truck today. Partly to remove a few weeks of California smog dew and partly to remove the oil/diesel mixture that collected on the back from my recent VE seal push out.
I checked the oil level and checked for fuel leaks after a test drive. Everything looks back to normal. What an adventure!
Cool idea for the cargo light.....what make and model is that? Did it require an special modifications?
Its just a cheapie from Amazon. I wasn't willing to spend $250 for an NOS cargo lens, so I made a custom bracket out of flat bar, and bolted it on. Here's the light that I got. It's super bright and I can find anything rolling around in the bed.

I spent about 4 hours double filtering the 7.5 gallons of fuel/oil mixture I drained from the crankcase. Then I put 2.5 gallons of it back in the tank. Spent the rest of the time cleaning the garage floor of the splashes etc... since my 5 gallon drain pan couldn't hold it all. Over the next 2 fillups I'll use the other 5 gallons of fuel/oil mix in the tank.
In the past I've dumped a gallon of used oil in the tank just to get rid of it. I haven't ever noticed more smoke than usual.
Flat bar, black spray paint, black RTV (cleaned up with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol) a wiring grommet and a toggle switch on the left lower dash panel (so I can easily turn it on without climbing in the truck). Cost me less than $25 total
That came out pretty sweet.
The only downside for me personally would be it would hit the fiberglass capper I like to install on my trucks for camping and road trips.
What ya need for the '90 Zaar?
PM me and I will see what I can dig up for you.
As long as you don't need me bring down an 8 ft bed on the top of my RC like you needed this spring around the Carlisle show...
I did a quick wet sand and buff on the 20+ year old paint job. She was covered in overspray, welding and grinding burns, tree sap and ash from all the wild fires here in Southern California the past couple of years.
Thanks to my buddy for donating some 1000g and 1500g

Looks great. What polishing compound did you use ?
That crew cab looks better every time you post pictures of it.
I should try wet sanding my RC from AZ this winter as it the paint is a little chalky after years in the sun.
I am digging that steering wheel with the Mopar button, as well. I am trying to remember what sort off rig you took that wheel out of from your build tread...Porsche maybe?

Got some "upper closer to the truck-0" pictures ?

Definately do it!!! My truck was painted at Maaco over 20 years ago. It's far from "show quality", but 4 hours of work made it look decent again. Very close on the steering wheel! It's a replica of a 60's aftermarket wheel made by EMPI, for the VW and Porsche market. Re pops are now made by a company called "Flat4" (and far cheaper than an original). I used a Grant "3 bolt" adapter and horn button that I bought from Summit. It's the right size to still make U-turns with 1 finger in the spoke of the wheel too.
