What did you do to your Gen 1 today?

The trailer was rented from a local yard. They have a small concrete plant on-site and fill it up right there. The capacity of the trailer is 1 3/4 yards but since I'm doing all the work by myself and the rental is a 2 hour Max I did it 1 yard at a time. They do check your truck first becuaee a yard of concrete is 5,300 and the trailer is 2,500 but in my case they just wanted to buy the truck. Lol
Mom had a 65 GT with the 6 banger auto.
Dark blue with blue interior
I remember it well, as i was just a peanut back then. I would lie in the back while she drove around, as I loved looking out that big glass window towards the sky. This was long before seatbelts were required.
Mom lost the brakes (drum) in it, and sold it for a couple hundred. UGH !!
Loved that junkbox....

The Mustang is a 1968 C-code. Nothing special except Stainless Steel Braking Corp disk brakes up front and a TCI Street Fighter C4 transmission. Sadly I haven't driven the car in many years
well you need to dust that Mustang off and put some miles on it!

Looks like the rockers are shot which probably means floor pans and cab mounts are gone or close to it.
I looked at a 1992 D150 down the road from me the other day. Figured I might buy it for a parts truck. Then I saw the side of the bed NOT facing the road: it was stove in from the cab to the wheel well. The guy thinks he's going to get $2000.00 out of it. I pointed out all of the rust that is a year or two from turning into rot and the places where it already had (he wasn't too happy when I poked my finger through the DS cab mount). I showed him all the rot behind the LE mouldings too. Told him it was a parts truck to me and give me a call when he's tired of looking at it. We'll see.

Ever follow someone in a noisy diesel ?
I'm gonna tell you, that It aint easy....
This woman let her dog leave a giant crap on my front yard on Saturday afternoon, and I again spotted her walking her mutts passed my house today. Hopped in the truck and followed her until she made her way back home which was only about 6 blocks away.
She played the "oh, no one is looking, so I don't have to pick up my dog crap" routine, on my front lawn, actually watching then turning her head side to side to see if "anyone was watching", which I captured on video.
When I got to her house, I knocked on the door, and her husband answered. He listened to me, and said he would go in and talk to her about it. He was very non confrontational and said nothing negative towards me. When she came out, she denied doing it, and it was simply impossible that she didn't pick up her dogs crap as she walked passed my house. So I told her that I would get the police involved.
I called the police. They came out, took my statement, and I went home. 5 minutes later, the cop came to my house, and asked me to come back and speak to them.
I went back and they (she) apologized for doing it. When I asked "why did you do that on my property? Today, I followed you home, you picked it up on other peoples property with "nice lawns". When you walked passed my house, and your dog crapped, you looked around, and just walked away. she said that she " had no excuse". She apologized again, introduced herself to me, and I went home.
The entire premise of me finding out who did it, and asking them not to anymore was all I wanted. Her initial "denial" then my having to waste this cops time, my time, and make a big *** out of myself was simply just so that this woman can "pretend like she's gonna pick up her dog's crap, then walk away, because she didn't see anyone around her", is a very good representation of how our societal values have decayed over the last few decades. Inconsideration is the new normal here, and the day I leave this freaking toilet of a state, will be a joyous one.. I will be very happy at that moment, and will never look back.
I guess the cop convinced her she would be in court because of the fact I have my entire property wired for video....
People just suck.....(around here)
But on the bright side, I guess not living where Mark lives, and hobo's crapping on his front lawn is a much worse alternative....

Here too! I live in a rural area so anything goes? Most Sundays I get to listen to throttle twisters for hours. It's so loud you'd think it was on my property. Probably doesn't cross their mind to ask themselves if their neighbors really want to listen to this ****. One neighbor decided he could use my propane tank more than me. It was one of those "canon ball" round tanks that had rolled down the hill into a ravine years ago before I owned the property. If he had asked I would have let him have it. I realized that I could have my own tank instead of paying $60 a year to rent one, so I went looking for the tank and it was gone. Only one place it could have gone but how do I prove it?
There's problems everywhere.

I guess I'll be on the lookout for this one as well.
Really time to get the hell out of town.
Caltrops from the sidewalk 4-6ft into the yard. I once threatened throw a dog turd at someone who let their noisy poop maker crap in my yard. I was working on the truck I had at the time and she didn't see me when she was looking around while her dog squatted. I came out from under the truck and yelled at her to pick it up. She pretended not to hear me until I told she was about to wear it. She said she didn't have a bag so I told her I'd get her one. I got a bag from the house with the quickness and she was hustling down the block. More yelling and she came back to threaten me with the police (pre-cell phone days). I handed her the bag and told her to be an adult. She eventually picked it up, walked down the block, and threw the bag in my neighbor's trash can. Cops never showed.
As someone that used to mow lawns for a living and used a bagger, random dog turds are a pet peeve of mine.
Fortunately it hasn't been a problem in the rural area that I live in. The biggest offender was a friend of mine that moved across the street. I wasted no time telling him in specific terms about the error of his ways.

At my old place in subrbia most people were pretty good about picking up after their dogs. But from time to time a bomb was found in the yard...really ticks me off too!
Then one day I found a small pink baggie of dog turds tossed in the back of Ol' Patches....I about lost my $hit over that. You actually pick it up but can't bother taking it home and dispose of it in the garbage! I made a sign up and put it in my front yard with the dog poop bag stapled on... said.....
"To the P.O.S dog owner who tossed this in my truck, if I see you do this again I will throw it at you, I have really good aim, it WILL get in your mouth.
I was pretty sure I knew who it was, since they stopped walking past my house after that.
