Stock Injectors on a '92

How much power can you get out of them by turning up the pump? I did try searching and I couldn't find an answer to this question.

My goal is 250-300 bhp for the time being. Bombing on a budget.

I've seen 'em do 250 with a good pump tune.

Yes. That truck had stock injectors, an HX-35/12, and an aggressive pump setup.

How about for a non-I/C truck? What do you think I can get from my stock injectors with a BHAF, 4" exhaust, 16cm turbo housing, 60mm wheel, 3" crossover, piston pump, DennyT Stage2 pin, etc.?

You will peg your pyro at about 270RWHP maybe a hair more. Add an intercooler, and you can easily top 300RWHP.

How about if I add W/M injection (liquid intercooler)? I'm thinking about a 2 stage system triggered at 15PSI (one nozzle) and 30PSI (both nozzles).

With an intercooler you could break 350rwhp with that setup.

For some numbers close to what your looking for I dynoed here while back with this:

Fuel screw maxed
Afc adjusted
stock injectors
4" turbo back
hx35/12cm
3200 GSK
DennyT Stage II
stock timing
stock injectors
NV4500

235hp 582tq

Thats a high mileage motor on a VERY sad and tired lift pump.......you would see higher numbers with your setup....

What is the compressor side difference between a stock '92 turbo and an HX-35?

I'm thinking about upgrading my compressor to one from Gillette Diesel.. (GDS CH-04)

Is there any danger or negative effects to making so much power with stock injectors?

An HX-35 will have a MWE slot.

The GDS upgrade is better than a stock '35 compressor.

Other than eating the shutoff solenoid plunger, not really.

Yes that is correct. I don't want to go too big though. Not sure if 2 mm makes that much of a difference though.
