Centerforce is a well-respected name in gasser 1/4 mile society. Most indications I've seen around here have folks recommending South Bend in the CTDs. I put a South Bend clutch in my 340 Plymouth Duster 1/4 mile car and love it. But nobody in the Mopar gasser circles I frequent ever heard of it. I think you just have to get something that is rated "above" what you expect it to do, because the manufacturer ratings all seem to be optimistic in terms of torque-holding capacity, etc.

The stock Sachs clutch in the 1st gens is probably one of the best clutches ever put in a mainstream consumer pickup.

Here's a recent thred where the guys that really know were talking about clutches:

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=144634

The stock Sachs clutch is a good bet, they've been known to last a looooong time and good up to over 300hp, if you don't abuse them. Just don't let anyone talk you into a 12" clutch. Depending on budget/price and future plans, maybe go with one of the SB units.
