Prodigy Brake Controller

My Prodigy stays on sometimes and you have move the lever to get it to go off to standby.
The code is a upside u and a c.
Has anyone had this before?
Thanks

I've had a prodigy for about 3 years, never seen that one before. Is that when your trailer is connected or unplugged? Mine just has two dots when unhooked, has a C when connected.

I thought that meant "No connection". But I could be wrong without looking at the manuel.

I have my camper on now so it is pluged in but there is no wires hooked to the brake wire. What is funny is that the code comes on when i put the brakes on but you push the lever to the right and the u-c goes out.

What the Prodigy is doing is reading your camper electrical lighting circuit and seeing a load on what it thinks are trailer lights. It then tells you that the brakes are not connected.

Here is what "nc" means:

1. Trailer not connected to tow vehicle.
2. Trailer connected with open circuit on
brake line.
3. Trailer connector disconnected or corroded.
4. Loss of trailer brake magnet ground.

You can download the Prodigy manual in PDF format here:
