450 Hp to the ground?
Ok so bought a 95 dodge 2500 single cab long bed 4x4 auto tranny 3.55 gears open rear end and in two weeks my 7inch long arm lift kit and 37's will be going on.
I want 450 Hp to the rear wheels what do i need to do? I want safe not hot power. im looking to stay away from twins. i dont mind a little lag and smoke is ok but still needs to be a daily driver.
Im thinking:
-4.56 gears and a locker in the rear
-full tranny
-some sort of big single turbo like a B-1
-ats manifold
-stage 2 ported head with arp studs and o-ring
-bosh 370's
-60lb valve springs
-4000k gsk
-ground #0 fuel plate
-Afc spring kit
-DV's
-4inch downpipe to my stacks
-schotty's intake
-timming
-KDP
-intercooler boots
- not sure but MAYBE propane dont know yet i dont like drugs.
-maybe bench the fuel pump or get a 215 pump not sure tho.
so i figure that should get me there. I want to overbuild the truck as in a tranny that will take 700Hp and a head that will take 75-80 but only give it 55-60 and i figure the schotty intake ats manifold, timming turbo ported head will keep my somewhat cool.
think thats going to be 450 to the ground that i can drive every day without problems??
any ideas are welcome. i bought the truck for 2500 bucks from someone who has no idea the value of the truck.

I dont want it to run hot is my biggest deal. should i go ahead and get a 215 pump or send my pump in to be bench tested and upgraded? and what are some good single big turbo's that wont lag to bad but wont make my temps shoot through the roof? 50-60lbs of boost is what im after.
what about propane?
how many ppl use it and what are its long term effects? i've run it on a buddies 04 dodge before and it really made it take off and hes got 115,000 miles with it.
thanks for the help guys.

I'd spray water/meth before propane, but that's just me. 62/12 should get you 450 hp with very little to no EGT issues, IMO. As far as pump work, that's completely up to you and $$$. If not too out of the way, I would go ahead and get a 215 b/c eventually everybody becomes a little "unsatisfied" and you might as well have the availability. You're planning on spending your money right elsewhere so might as well spend it right with the pump, too.

913 pump
4GSK
100 Plate
PDR AFC Kit
PDR modified 35/26 3B twins
F1 Helix II cam
F1 Hot Rod 370s ~ HP unknown
+ the support stuff that dosent add any power just allows you to use it.
This combo was 461hp @ 1200* prior to smoking the tires on the dyno.
Pretty sure there is a honest 50-75hp there if the tires would hold but they didnt, so as it stands the combo puts out 461hp
Right where you want to be

I think if you run the setup you have listed you will be easily where you want to be. As far as the pump, i would have it worked on before you get a new one, that pump is plenty capable of building a lot more hp thatn what you want.
