can we get Sheetz to carry bio???
Hey guys, sheetz is one of the largest fuel retailers in the country, lets email them and ask them to carry bio. what can it hurt? send them a quick email and tell em we want to support America and we'll support Sheetz.
Even if you don't live anywhere near a Sheetz, help get bio sold at more locations and send a quick email to help out your fellow diesel lovers.

I'm also posting this on TDR and TDI club, if anyone wants to post on any other diesel sites feel free and let us know where you did and if you sent an email to Sheetz.
I'd think between the three sites we could get 50,000 or more emails in a week or so, that has to make someone realize that there is a real, very large market for it.
Thanks for your support!!!!!!!!

What's the advantage to running this Biodiesel. I e-mailed a supplier down here in San Diego and here's his reply.
Chuck,
The main modification will be your rubber hoses for the fuel lines. The fuel filter will need to be changed in one month then again in another 2. Make sure you crack them open to see how dirty they have become.
Bio-diesel is a detergent and will clean your engine and this is the cause of the filter changes. Please consult your owners manual or the engine manufacture to determine your warranties using bio-diesel.
We sale bio-diesel by bulk, which means the smallest quantity available would be 55 gallon drums.
B100 = $4.10 gallon
B20 = $3.28 gallon
The price can change on the B20 depending on the market value of diesel at the time of purchase.
I can sale drums out of our Escondido plant.
Your mileage should improve as well as over all performance and less down time due to maintenance as well.
Let me know your thoughts,
!!!!! This seems to me to be quite per gallon !!!!!

in NC I was paying the same for B20 as regular #2. it's been within a few cents everytime I have gotten Bio.
Everywhere around Richmond I have been checking fuel prices it's between $2.089 and $2.199, Sheetz is still $1.999. They are a PA owned company (2 brothers I believe) and the stores are clean, bright and and they are expanding big time. Most every store I have been in has had very nice employees, and they pay above min wage. seems like the perfect fit to carry bio...

It has similar btu's to diesel #1. Biodiesel is made with vegetable oils, methanol and lye. At common blends of b20, you will not see any noticeable power or mpg loss. It's great stuff. I ran b100 in my TDI for 35,000 miles exclusively with no problems at all. The cummins also likes the b20.

B20 is the same price as #2 because it's state subsidized in N.C...
But the station in Durham was $2.099 yesterday, while the one in Cary (which I hate) was $2.269!!
The only reason is because it's in Cary... Wake County fuel taxes aren't that much higher at all.
