can we get a stickie of guys who will sell Bio Diesel?

a guy in Columbia wanted to sell me some, but it would take some investment on both our parts

but if a fellow making it, had ~200 gals of storage,

and i had a ~100 gal tank in the bed, i could run up there and ~120 gallons, that would last me ~3 weeks.

i just don't have a shop to make it in, but if someone has made the investment, i think folks on here would not mind helping him recoup his costs?

or does that sound too simple?

with all this price gouging and hurricanes, a 100 gal tank makes sense.
my wife is getting itchy to have one, esp after TX took so long to open the other lanes.

if i get a 100 tank for the bed, and hold 34 in tank,
it would be worth it to ride a ways to pick it up.

(34 gals x 17 mpg = 570 miles - lasts week or 2)
(134 x 17 = 2278 miles)

could ride out every other month to refill?

This is a real cool idea, but I am sure that it would have to be kept quiet to keep uncle sam from getting involved.

Heck he might be mad at me for just mentioning it.

I hope that he does not have surveilance on my commputer yet. lol

PM me if you live in west mi with bio for sale!!!!!!

Those "idiots" in Texas opened the south bound lanes as soon as all the emergency vehicles and supplies were in place in the Houston area. The idiots elsewhere need to get the story straight before they open their mouth.

PLEASE...........don't depend on TV for accurate information.

No doubt, there were problems, and there were lessons learned. But NO ONE thought 2.4 million people would try to leave the Houston area at the same time. And even with the problems, doing it in 48 hours was quite a feat. Think about it.....that's more then half the population of South Carolina, and they all came from one area.

The bus....very sad situation. It's the same senario as a few years ago when some high school kids were killed in a bus outside of Dallas by a company that shouldn't have been in business, a driver that had no business driving and people that contracted them without checking the background. Down here, no one in their right mind would charter a bus from a company from Mexico.

As Crobtex says don't depend on TV or any media for accurate information. They take and edit all the truth down to what will cause the most emotional response and always leave you with very little in the ways of fact.

It only takes one time where you are a witness to something they report to see how they gloss over what actually happens.

Take ANYTHING the media puts out with a bucket of salt.

how bout getting back to the topic of finding out who sells bio? would be a good deal to get together a "club" not for profit orginization of course that could have a place to make this stuff and sell to cover costs...... that way a group could chip in on the initial setup cost, share a place convenient, and share the collection duties......... fueling on an as needed basis and brewing a few nights a week.

Crob & Eq...all good points...i stand corrected...

milkmaze man...10-4...if someone is on the BRINK of doing it, having 3 or 4 guys agree to buy some from him, would definitely make a couple americans less dependent on "pull starts."

This sounds alot like how the Farmers markets and Co-Ops got started back in the 60-70's..
If someone decides they hgave the room and ability to be the producer, and its within a couple hundred miles of me( figure 500 tops) I would join the "DTR Fuel Co-operative".....my home system has been put on hold indefinitly due to unforseen expenses deleting my funding.
