Superchips and high idle

Doesnt appear there are a whole lot of superchips users on here, but for the ones that do use it. Have you noticed your high idle(cruise control) does not work with the programmer installed? Superchips has a beta program that allows you to disable and enable it. Not sure if it has to be vin locked or not yet, maybe it is like the bullydog that you can turn on your buddys high idle without the vin lock. Just thought i would share the update, i hate not having mine when its cold out.

Did you say with the Bully Dog you can turn on the high idle without being locked to the VIN?

Check out the flashpaq.com. I think they are talking about this some. I am not sure, but I don't think you can have the SC installed with the high idle.

Yes, with the tripple dog. you dont have to have it locked to your truck to enable the high idle. that means if a buddy is running one on his truck and you want the high idle, he does not have to unload it.

I was trying to tell you that they now have a program out to update this. You can now turn on the high idle with your flashpaq AND use the HIGH IDLE while running the performance tunes! Send them a service ticket and they will hook you up. I have been on them since the day i found out my high idle did not work. I was one of the first 3 to get the beta program, and it works awesome. It

AWESOME! That is so radical. I have a thread going here or on DTW about how to get it going on a manual trans. Having Dodge do it is complicated & it dies not sound free. I have the SC off of my 04.5 waiting for my 06. I am just worried about the clutch. I should just do it on tow & see how it goes.
Thanx.

I have mine enabled on my manual and it is awesome. Dodge is definatly not the way to go, but email dodgebeta@superchips.com and ask them about the program. They will ask you for your serial, and you get online and update as usual. Then go outside and enable...takes 45 secs.

Radical. Since I posted the previous I went & e-maild Ron @ SC. Now, I just read you have an 06 with the SC & SC Firefly. Are you running the stock clutch? How is it going with the clutch?

I am going to blow it clean out!!!

Before on performance w/ my 37's i could slip the clutch or start to (loud grinding sound) if i got the motor down in rpm and then stood on it. on tow the the firefly on 1 it seems to be at the level just before slipping the clutch and it hauls ****. SB clutch will be on the BDAY list for myself.

stock truck on performance you should not have any problems with the clutch.

Dont tell them this....but i ran the firefly straight up for a week, it was ok power, but i didnt want to run around on 3 just to spank people. so i put the Flashpaq on tow and i use setting 1 and 2 on the firefly to play. 3 will be a till i get a rail pressure gauge, 6 more days!! since SC wont tell me how much they play with pressure on tow, i cant really play with the firefly until i know what is going on.

Rad, so you think I can put it on performance, put on my K&N set up, & lose the cat & get a muffler & roll with it?
Thanx.
