High idle, how high RPM for extended idle use?
Hello. I have the high idle enabled on my Superchip. The other day 2 of my 3 kids were asleep and it was really hot outside. I stayed in the truck with kids & AC on for like 15 minutes. I played with it from 1200 to 1500 RPM's. How high is high enough to know Diesel wash is absolutely not a concern? Any other concerns I should be aware of?

the 1100rpm idle(same as auto high idle when the truck is cold) is sufficient to prevent wash and get all the fuel burned.

with sustaining 1100 rpms, how long can i let the truck idle like that?

all day long. ever hear a big rig idling while they unload? it isnt at 750, that doesnt get enough heat generated to burn it all.
