Question on 2 Micron Kit
Anybody have and experience or opinion on these? http://www.vulcanperformance.com/ser...-Filter/Detail http://www.vulcanperformance.com/ser...-Filter/Detail are they similar to the GDP kit? http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...?pf_id=MK20306 any input is appreciated. the links i provided from vulcan are 6 micon filters but can be fitted with 2 micron filters. Thanks

I put the Glacier 2 micron kit in my truck.
It is a quality product and it was easy to install. I've come to think that GDP has the best installation manuals I've ever read (good english and nice color pictures), which is a lot of the easy install part I mentioned.
I would highly recomend all the GDP products I've used.

thanks HighTen, that's initially what i was leaning towards, til i saw that kit from vulcan. it looks like they have a similar setup, plus it is less expensive. i've also had great success with vulcan performance in the past so that's what got me thinking

I think my hoses and banjos were about $40 from a Parker vendor and I built the filter base from 1/4" SS and made the 1"-14 center on a pipe machine. 1/2 and 3/4 pipe threads are 14TPI. Craig

I just put a Glacier 2 micron kit (plus the big line) on my truck as well. I have to agree that their instructions are the best, which is a big help for me as I am a first time diesel owner with this truck. The only potential draw back would be that if you wanted to install a new intake air horn you would have to purchase it from GDP because it has the same mounting holes as the stock one.
Overall though, GDP makes some great products and have had zero problems with my kit.
