Do I need a 5 micron or 2 micron filter for my Airdog 100?

I found a Cummins dealer close to me that stocks fleet guard filters. They have the 2 micron in stock for $11.47 each. They would have to order the 5 micron at $9.87 each. I think my system came with the 5 micron. Is it ok, or better to run the 2 micron. Does the 2 micron require to be changed more often? Thanks for the help, this fuel system and filters are new to me.

Their best filter is actually a 5 micron.. but go that route.. more filtration is better. FF5613 is the one you want.

I'm a little confused!

Their best filter is a 5 micron. But they offer a 2 micron (FF5613)?

The FF5613 is a 5 micron filter, per the fleetguard specs. 5 microns absolute. They publish the 2 micron %age, and its 92%.. but that makes it a 5 micron filter not a 2 micron...

The FF5613 is the best filter you can get for the odd thread size that AD uses.

AHHHH! So the 5 micron is absolute rating and the 2 micron is a nominal rating?
