QUAD box & Rokktech. Too much Timing advance??

So I put on the Quad std box (65hp) and I have the Rokktech sensor at full adjustment (~2 deg advance) according to the Rokktech website. How do you tell with the diesel rattle what detonation sounds like?

Anybody running the Rokktech and Quad box or have opinions? Should I put the stock sensor back on? Rokktech's website says they are compatible and have been tested by users but I wanted to see if any DTR members have experience.

I noticed the diesel rattle was a little louder and the motor sound in general was slightly louder when I installed the Quad box.

Any thoughts?

For those that had both did you run the Rokktech at full adjustment?

Coparam4x4 - I ran the rokktech with my stock motor for about 2 months. Good low end power bump. Mileage went up just a little. Really liked it and easy install.

I ran the Quad standard XZillaraider and the roktech on my 03, and other than increased timing rattle, I noticed absolutley NO difference in anything.

I have both and am wondering if I have the Roktech adjusted right because I have not noticed any rattle at all. Everything is running fine though.

I've got the 65hp quad box now and have been thinking about the timing mod also. What's the goal? more power or mpg or both? What are most of you getting with mpg? up or down?
thanks Jamie
