EGT gauge in dash?
I am wanting to keep a clean look in my truck, but I want EGT and maybe boost gauge. The cleanest way for EGT is the SRT10 pillar. But I think I would like to put a boost gauge there instead. I was wondering if I could remove the voltmeter from the dash and replace it with EGT, or if this would cause a problem.
Thanks in advance, this forum is a great tool.

It should work fine. I did the same thing, but put the tranny temp. there. You'll have a better view than me since you have a 6-speed. My auto shifter is slightly in the way when in D, but tranny temp doesn't move much so you don't look at it as often as you would the PYRO.

I too am getting the SRT-10 A Pillar but will probably go with Trans Temp and EGT in that hole as I feel it would be more important for me with my auto.
If you want to view both EGT and Boost there is a gauge just for you here Go with the white dial and green background should look nice.

Another question: does the boost gauge and EGT gauge void your warranty or just the EGT? I am putting off mods that will do that for about 28k miles.
Also, that SPA gauge is nice, but pretty pricey.
Thanks,
Nick

I can't imagine an EGT voiding the warranty, I guess from drilling the manifold?? but if your Dealer is that picky I would find another.
I found westach can make a dual EGT and trans temp or boost with a white face for much less $$$

Why don't you install th BD X-Monitor it has Tranny/Boost/Pyro. You can even paint the mount to match the interior color and you won't even know it was not stock

That was my original plan, until I saw how the SRT pillar looked. I really like the clean look it gives. Plus $360 for pyro/boost only is a little more than I was looking to spend. The dual westach is $199 and the autometer EGT is around $145 I think.
I do like the digital outputs though. But not enough to justify the cost.
