AEM for 2006?

Hey guys,
i was wonering if anyone could tell me if Part # 21-8206D will fit a 2006 truck. AEM says 03-05 and their website listsnothing fo 06's It is a Brute Force intake.

Yep it fits. That's what I have. AEM21-8206DP is what the invoice says.

i got one of those about 8 months ago. i dont know if i would buy it again though. on my truck the fit is terrible, but it looks good and is very simple to clean.

what about the fit don't you like? does the bend in the tube not match up?

The IAT sensor plug slightly touches the insulation on the underside of the hood. Hasn't caused an issue for me though yet. Ignore the filter minder if you decide to get the AEM. It will no longer be accurate.

Run a search for the "whistler" or "homemade 6" intake" It's a custom 6" intake that will fit your truck, much cheaper than buying one, and better performance cause the air it moves through it. I have an 01 truck and took the same idea and made my own 6" it's really efficient. Doesn't hurt to check it out at least.
