I just got my 2005 Ram 2500 with the cummins 600. Got lots of parts coming but still at a loss on the intake. I miss the turbo whine that my '02 had, hoping an intake with tube will help get it that lovely sound back. I am considering the AEM Brute Force. Does anyone have any experience with this intake? I had planned on using a prefilter with it. Planning on some mild upgrades a little later but don't plan to exceed the capability of this intake. Not expecting more than 400 hp when bombed. I think it is one of the better looking out there and at one of the best prices around $230-240. I like the Scottys and AFE's but they tend to get a little pricey. Thanks Tacsavage

Is the AEM intake just the filter or is it the filter and tube to the turbo, if its the filter and the tube $240 is a really good price...I have the AFE stage 2 w/ proguard filter and the turbo whine is a lot more noticable...

 

The AEM has the filter with heat shield and either polished or silver tube to the turbo. Thanks Tacsavage
