EB quits at 25MPH Any adjustment?
I was on a really steep, curvy road. Some curves were best at 15, 20 MPH.
Grade is 26% (Ca 108). I didn't have any problems, but it would be nice if the EB didn't just quit at 25. Anyway to adjust it?

Mine doesn't quit at 25 mph, at least not with tow/haul turned on. It pulls hard all the way down to a very low speed. I am not sure what speed it quits without tow/haul on, will have to try that out and see. Maybe there is something wrong with yours?
My observation has been that the brake disengages around 1100 rpm or so. I'm quite sure it's rpm based as opposed to mph based.
As Dodgezilla suggested, use tow/haul and max your upshifts to 4th or 5th gears.

What I have found lessens the harsh downshifting is to tap the brake right when I think it is about to downshift. I know the whole idea is to not use the brakes if you don't have to but doing this makes mine much less harsh. Tow/Haul makes a huge difference in how effective the EB works....

The difference between tow/haul and normal mode is pretty dramatic on the downshifts. It is really agressive in tow haul and seems to work automatically all the way to a stop. Now without the tow haul........
When I'm empty, mine will work all the way down to a stop but I have to agressively downshift it manually. I haven't quite mastered it yet. However, my experience is that if you let it come down by itself on flat ground it cuts off at 15 - 20 mph. For some reason if the exit ramp is downhill the EB stays on a little longer. That seems weird right?

The ecm seems to sense how quickly you are decelerating or how much you need for the EBrake to come into play. Downshifting manually i can get it to stay on sometimes in 2nd, but it seems like its only when i am needing it most, rapid decel. If im just kinda slowly coming to a stop then it seems to not come on at all in 2nd. Its really hard to put my finger on how to make it stay engaged in 2nd, but it seems like its only in a very hard emergency downshift or something to that affect.
Otherwise it shuts off automatically at 1100rpms and normally doesnt come on in 2nd gear at all. As a matter of fact, even in tow haul mode, my tranny wont automatically downshift into 2nd. It stops after 3rd

Mine will very rarely come on in 2nd gear, and only when the shifter is in "D". Almost always drops out around 20-25mph whether tow haul, or manual downshifting. I read somewhere that when the torque converter unlocks, it's supposed to drop the ex-brake...
On my truck, the EB will work down to 20MPH in T/H. The EB does work in second gear. RPM's don't seem to make any difference.
A little over 6,000 miles now. Really like the truck
