front end clunk at 25mph lightly turning left to right
i have been having a front end clunk for the last year that i could never put my finger on(or be able to replicate) but i recently found out how. i was driving through road construction, and they had barrels all over the manholes and water main coves so i had to swerve slightly left or right to get around them, but maintained my 25mph speed. about a quarter turn each way i can feel an ever so soft clunk in the steering wheel. it drives me nuts. i am not expert on front end parts and do not like wasting money on having repair shops fix things that arent the problem(from experience
) any ideas guys?

I had that clunk that I recently started hearing. Found out what it was when the right tierod popped out of the socket. Luckily it happened at a low speed and no traffic on the road cause it put me in the on coming side
Have someone turn the wheels back and forth and see if there is any play in the tierod ends

No, the track bar connects the axle to frame to keep it centered. The sway bar connects frame to both sides of axle with flexible joints and bar to prevent leaning in turns.
WOW, so many post all about the same problems! man Dodge should kick us down some money...
....my clunk from left to right was an ovaled upper track bar hole. It was not properly torqued down to 150 ft lbs and had enough play to move around. my fix as per Carli's suggestion was to put the larger track bar bolt ^just read your year of truck ^ that you probably already have. would be something quick to check though. drop the bar and put bolt back in to check for play.
best of luck

I just had the same problem. it was the Track Bar bushing. Cheap fix too 1hr labour and 50 bucks for parts.
So get your self to a good reputable shop and ask them to check the front end in front of you, so you can see what going on. good idea to check the whole front end while your doing your track bar bushing
