UpDate for me: I Took my truck to MidWay Motors in Mcpherson ks. It was about an hr away. They new what to do. Now I just start the truck, turn on the cruise, then hold down the set and accell button and the same time and then let off. The engine go's from 700rpm to 1100rpm . While I was there he brought to my attention 2 recalls. One on the steering box and the other on hose clamps. Steering box was taken care of when lift and such were installed. The clamps have to be ordered. while I was in I had them install the block heater cord, yea it looked easy to install, but I don't get around as good as I used to. Anyway, I'm ready for winter as far as that go's. 411's, air lockers f&R and Dynatrac hubs the week of Nov. 11th. Then I'll really be ready for winter

All you have to do is turn on the cruise and press the set button to activate the high idle. You press the Accell/decell button to make it go higher or lower.

Don't hold down the Accel button, just hit the set button with the cruise on and should idle up to 1100. Then you can use the Accel\Decel buttons to adjust up and down.
