Not a flash, just turning on the option in the ECU as its already there.

Yep, or buy a Smarty. All ready turned on in the load.

I'm pretty sure my Smarty S-06 doesn't have it, but maybe I should snoop around more.

Service manager is full of crap and dumber than a box of rocks, AND an idiot to boot.

The high idle is a factory option in their own tools and is usually turned on by most competent dealers.

Go in and complain of poor cab heat and warm up when its cold, there is a TSB to trn on the high idle to address it.

Noop, it is only for the 04' and up. The 03' ECM is the hangup is the reason why.

My dealer enabled my high idle before the Smarty....LOL Void Warranty.... What an idiot. I would not take my truck to that dealership.

Maybe, maybe not. The ECU is capable and if your flash update is later than Dec 2003 its already there.

The problem is activating it with the cruise buttons. Not all of CC's would correctly activate the high idle.

find another dealer ... run from your GF's brothers dealer.

there is a page in the owners manual i think it is pg. 216 ? talks about a high idle flash. I took mine to the local dealer and it was done in less than 5 minutes for free.

Yes, find another dealer and bring in a box of donuts. That usually works pretty well...
