Baldwin Oil Filters
Baldwin Oil Filters
Anyone ever heard of Baldwin oil filters?? Have the chance to get several cases at a great price, but dont know if they are worthy of my CTD. Any suggestions?
Saw some good things about them for the first gens, what about on the 600 series?

I've inquired about them too, and from what I understand, the Baldwin is along the same quality as the standard Fleetguard filter, but not quite as good as the Fleetguard "Stratapore". But, some of the guys swear by them and they're super cool looking in bright red.
How cheap?

Guys, I have used red Baldwins and Blue AC Delcos, But.....I was told by the truck place that the Baldwin was not rated for as high a pressure as the Mopar and is not a direct part # replacement.

Thanks for the input, wonder bout the pressure issue? Gonna get them for $50/12 I've made the mistake of running frams and so far they've held up, though I still dont think they're worth having. I was looking for something close to a fleetguard, far as quality goes. The cross reference for them is BT399

Baldwin filters are a great filter but BT399 is the old filter BT7339 is the updated version to withstand the high pressure startup. Remember cummins owns fleetguard! who do you think there going to recommend. PF7654 for fuel has been updated to PF7777
