Adjusting Valves -How long to do job?
I called the Dodge dealer in Nashua, NH and ask for an appoingment to adjust the valves on my truck with 150K on the clock. The service manager said, "Why would you want to do that?" Ooops!
I suggested he talk to his diesel guy and call me back. He called back and said it would take about 2 1/2 hours after the engine cooled and cost $250.
Does this seem about right in time and treasure?

I do mine on my 04 and 05 at about 100,000 My 93 gets the treatment about every 30,000 to 40,000 as per cummins. It usually takes me about 2 to 2 1/2 Hrs. Depending on how hot it is. I like to do them first thing morning without starting the truck when the engine is cold, again as per cummins.....
