04-5 problems
So i have a 04.5 and really never had any problems till now.... Just got back from a trip to Wyoming and truck ran fine.... got home shut off the truck and a couple hours later jumped in the truck and it was hard to start and a loud pinging sound right by the fire wall when you give it a little fuel ... idles alright so i took off and gave it a little gas and about 1700 and up feels like the throttle sticks for about 3-5 seconds depending on RPM's then rough idle's down..... any ideas about whats going on
Thanks

If you had a signature, it would be a lot easier.
Do you have any mods? (power adders, gauges, supporting mods)
Co you have any codes?

When is the last time you changed your fuel filter?
Do you still have the canister mounted pump?

That's a rail pressure sensor code.
Take the edge off and try it. You could have a bad rail pressure sensor. Do you have a rail pressure gauge?
Try pulling the rail pressure sensor (on the fuel rail, pretty obvious black sensor) and clean it, reseat it.
How are your batteries? Check them while you're at it, bad batteries can cause some weird problems.

The P code is the rail pressure code.
The C code just means that something happened so many key cycles ago, just something abnormal that has not happened again. That specific code is a door lock code.

If it's the rail pressure sensor, that's not cheap. I ruined mine, the programmer I was running where it connected to the sensor didn't have the rubber on the plug. So when I washed down the engine it got wet,but mine was still warranty they didn't know about the programmer. Good luck sounds similar to what mine was doing, except mine left me sit it would start but not stay running and sounded cammed up.
