Oil pressure gauge options?

The oil pressure gauge on my 95 2500 has gone out. Cannot find one anywhere as they were discontinued 10 years ago. Anyone know a hook up for à stock type gauge?

Thanks

I can supply you with most any 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins part that is discontinued.
PM if you like.
Otherwise install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge in another location.

You can use one of the 1/8" ports on top of the oil filter for a mechanical gauge.

Are you sure its the gauge? The sending units are notorious for failing. While it's not a fun reach, it's not terribly difficult to replace the sender. A lot of people say the aftermarket senders don't last long and recommend using an OE Cummins sender - I cannot comment on that yet either way. If you replace the sender, I highly recommend spending the $11-12 for a 1-1/16" oil pressure sender/switch socket - a regular deep socket (24mm?) will also work, but may have clearance issues.

The factory gauge is woefully inaccurate - it's more like an idiot light. If you want an accurate reading, install either an electronic or mechanical gauge as mentioned above.

Yeah, I already changed sender, was my first guess since has already gone out once. Also, kinda didn't want to go to a mechanical or after market add on in truck. Already have a couple after market gauges that are kinda ugly and break often.

For better accuracy than the OEM gauge but still avoiding the mechanical gauge, you could also go to an electric aftermarket oil pressure gauge. ISSPRO claims their EV2 line matches OEM - they show 16 series of gauges within their EV2 line, so you'd need to look and see what matches for colors and lighting. To my knowledge, ISSPRO is well regarded for durability and accuracy. I have an ISSPRO electric fuel pressure gauge and am very satisfied with it. Just something to consider...

Did you get the right Cummins sender? You should have been asked for the "CPL" number off your engine tag and probably needed 50-70 bucks US to get out the door.....if not that may be why you have no reading,,,,,just my .02
