Where is the list of Cummins Approved Filters?
And can I use 15w/40 in my 01' like we use in all of our other trucks?

If cost Vs value is a consideration. I have been using the Purolator L45335 for 147,000 miles with good oil analysis'. Its approved. Not knocking anyones preference just sharing my experience. To get the $1.99 price go to thier website and choose Advertized Specials, print coupon $2.99, submit rebate form $1 off limit 4 yeilds net cost $1.99.

 

It is hard to beat 2.99. Especially if it's approved!

 

We've used Baldwin Filters on our Farm for years. Trucks mostly, and occasionally we'll put one on a tractor, but we prefer to use the John Deere filters (made by FleetGuard, painted Black) on a John Deere and a Case IH filter on Case IH. But on everything else you’ll see Baldwin orange on it, and I can’t say that we’ve ever had a problem, but we started using them because we could get them from a place where the farm could get a right decent discount. But Ford or Dodge, a Baldwin has never failed us.
