Who's going for the Record??
Allright, I'm back in the game, the truck is running again with a transmission swap thanks to J&H Performance.
Old combo:
6x16s
Scheid 14mm VE
62mm S300
727 w/Goerend converter
c.12-14 deg of timing
two-stage nitrous (.099 and .135 jets, no bottle heater)
New combo:
6x16s or 6x18s
Scheid 14mm VE
62mm S300
47RH
c.22-24 deg of timing
three stages of nitrous (capable of .125, .157, .157 with bottle heaters)
If that doesn't crack 600, I don't know what will. I'm hoping for 700, but wise enough to know not to bet on it at this point.

You're not a nitrous junkie Bill? I was beginning to think my truck was the only one that didn't come with it from the factory.
Thanks Ron. Hey, on a side note, have you seen any mpg increase or decrease by going to larger/smaller turbochargers just tooling down the freeway? I know you've had a few sets on the truck.
With twins, yes. I had best mileage when i was running about 8psi down the road and they would come up quickly from a light. Seems to require less pedal in town and I could get around 21 to 21.5 hwy. Larger twins definitely take it down a bit. I run around 17.5 combined now and about 18-19 out on the highway with these twins(GT4094/Gt55), 13mm p-pump and 7 x .013 injectors.
So the theory being that with some extra boost at cruising speed the engine could make enough hp (say about 50 hp) to get down the road and run leaner than it otherwise would in a bigger turbo/no boost situation?
Holy smokes! You should pick up a few ponies there! I hate when I don't double check something and it bites me in the rear. Check and re-check--advice from the Department of Redundancy Department
