No kidding there. I know its not your fault, but I always have an urge to give you crap about my 12m subscriptions always lasting 8 months and getting canceled. But I know its not something you have anything to do with and this is the first gen forum, so we generaly keep it first gen.

One of these days once I reach my current goal of running 12's with the getrag I will have to set a new goal, and likely it'll be top HP with a VE. For me this is just a play truck and hobby. I have a killer LLY Dmax that should be in diesel power to get me from oil rig to oil rig and not stopping to fill up but every 2,000 miles. One gallon of TCW-3 lasts me 4 fuel fills. When its time to get more 2 cycle its time to also get a new filter and clean out the oil centrifuge. That $160 investment has saved me tons of money in oil!!!

And speaking of which, to completely disrail the thread, what happened with that? You asked if anyone was interested in your system, but we never heard back about it. Not enough interest?

I've never seen it for sale. Do they have it in stores or is it subscription only.I hear people giving them a bad time every once in a while, but I think that's to be expected. Like the guy said, can't please everyone.

Not an advertisement or endorsement!

RonA, they have it on the shelves at Publix, (grocery store mainly in the South East I believe. May not be in Ca. but don't quote me on that) Walmart, Barnes & Noble, and probably a few others too. Subscriptions are also available, (and a whole lot cheaper!) Go to www.dieselpowermag.com if interested.

I just read your signature, kinda going against the grain from most folks 'round these parts . I like that though, why limit yourself, right?

The correction factor was 1.05 so figure that out too. Now everyone can **** off so I can enjoy my vacation. I am not even home yet I drove 16 hours one way to go to the event and I am about half way home. I am going to try and go to the Nor-cal Rally on the 15th so I have some time to do some tuning, but I will not be posting the results. I just don’t care anymore and that is why I stopped posting. I have held the record since 2005 so if you want to go ahead and try and break it. To me I broke my old numbers.

OH yeah the correction factor was 1.05 so figure out that too. If you think I am being a jerk about this just go back and read all of my old posts and you might get a hint of why I don’t post anything anymore. If you don’t get it I really don’t care. For those of you that gave me just a little respect I will still answer PM's and give out info other than that I am done POSTING.

Easy there Jeremy.

I think the point is this.
If your old numbers are 640 and 680 uncorrected, these new uncorrected numbers come out to 617 and 674 RESPECTIVELY.
Would you not want to know that to compare to?
If 700 hp is the next "ve goal" then I would say it has yet to be reached.
That's certainly is not to say you and Brad did not work hard to get it all together in time for May Madness or that it's not capable of doing so after getting some miles on it and more tuning.

Congrats on a ve taking overall high hp numbers at May Madness.

If your on vacation, please enjoy it.
I know if I were on vacation I would not be looking at forums.

I've heard this arguement several times before. Never really heard a definitive answer either way. I've talked to a couple of people at DynoJet and Superflow about it and they say the corrected numbers are valid if atmospheric data is correct. I've never dyno'd at altitude to see the difference. Temp makes a difference as does cooling off between runs. There are a couple of local events planned this summer and I hope to see Jeremy bring the green machine to at least one of them.
That's one of the drawbacks to a manual truck, you can't verify your hp with a 1/4 mile trap speed comparison.

From what I have read and witnessed the atmospheric conditions built into the software of these dynos for correction apply to naturally aspirated vehicles which usaually is about 3-3.5 % for every 1000' feet.
Nitrous is about the only adder that can correct for nearly all lack of air due to elevation.
Turbochargers lose about 1-1.5 % per 1000 feet.
I have had the chance to dyno at May Madness in Pahrump (2600'), then at Weekend on the Edge in Utah (4600') and again here in Denver (5200').
Although it was on different days, months for that matter, I have found that on my vehicle it would lose about 1.7 % per 1000'.

The year is early and Jeremy is awfully close to 700.
A couple more events could be all it takes.

I'll be the first to ask then if there was a correction.
Every year at May Madness it is 7-10%.
This would be a first if there is not.

Either way, it is obviously a great number.

You know what’s funny is you would think the correction factor would only matter to some one that is going after the top HP. I know of only one that that made it over 600hp and he doesn’t post on this site. The other one dropped out of the game years ago.

Like Wanna said, HP is HP, and Stomp is the man. Consistently. After all the money and time and effort he put it, I don't blame him one bit for not wanting to give us all the blueprints to his engine/s. Heck, maybe he and Ponci should be building crate engines and get a little kickback from it. I couldn't afford one, but I'd sure like to have one!!
Thank you. When I spoke with Ron A the other day he reminded me that nothing has changed since 2005. You know he is right there was bunch of complainers then too. Thank you for the nice comments.

Hey thanks man. It was nice to meet you and I have to tell you that you have one heck of a clean First Gen W350 single axel. I wouldn’t think there is a bunch of those things left. Even Brad commented on how nice it was. When you decide to turn that thing up let me know.

If i were you, i wouldnt take anything personal. Jealousy seems to be a natural human trait, and it shows.

But back on topic-Congratulations and i hope that you keep at it and let us all in on your progress.
