I got the Gauntlet RC fired up for the first time of the year yesterday.
I let it run for 20 minutes and then drained the oil and filled it back up with Valvoline and a fresh filter.
I was going to run the truck in gear and the T-case in N to warm up the oil in the Getrag and change that too, but I was a QT or two shy of oil in the shop. I will do that when I give it grease gun session next week.
Maybe Charlotte and I will give it a bath today.
It will be out on the road again on Mon..

Generally, its only the one bushing that fails, as its exposed to sunlight through the grate. I spray painted mine, after installing it, and its been good for 5 years or more

Straightened the fins on my a/c condenser as well as de-gunked the intercooler exterior. What started out as a couple hour project took from 9 till 6, as I couldn't relocate the PS cooler I installed a few years back. I want the condenser to not have anything in front of it, after spending 6 hours on a stool, straightening fins.
Assembled and disassembled 3 times till I decided I wasn't keeping the ps cooler until I have a better location, and friendlier hose routing. The turn signal wouldn't fit because I initially ran the hoses through the rad support hole the signal wires go through. Moving the PS cooler, blocked the signal assembly from sitting right.

Had to replace the seal on the input shaft on my 5 yr old RedHead steering box, to my surprise there is enough room in the seal housing to put 2 seals in there and still get the snap ring in, if you leave out the dust seal.
also had a wiper are pop off, needed some new plastic clippy things.
I installed my PS cooler in front and my AC works very nice, just FYI.
I think if you were pulling a big camper up pikes peak in could be different with the charge air being hot.

So far, 7k miles. Already did one oil change, and I’ll be due for another as soon as I get there. I need to do a full PM on her, change the trans fluid, and as give her a full detail job. She’s going to need new rubber too. I’ve done too many burnouts and after towing fairly heavy, they’re almost down to the wear bars. About 20k miles out of the RBP Repulsor 315/75R16’s. I’m looking into reviews of other brands to see if there’s anything a little longer lasting. Still, not bad for an MT tire though.

Another reason to live in a small, rural town (and not all those places youall gripe about):
Went to NAPA yesterday to get some Xerex G-05 for the Cummins, fan hub clutch for the Jeep diesel KJ and some tractor filters. I have no idea what it cost because I didn't pay. Computers were down, so they said just stop back by in the next couple days and settle up.

When you guys replace your wiper bushings are you using Mopar bushings or the cheap ones you find in the HELP section at the parts stores? I bought the Mopar bushings for mine, the price went up considerably from the last time I bought some but they seem to last longer, at least to me.

12 days off start now. Had other stuff planned, but now a cooling system to repair before it has to drive nearly 300miles to work.

I feel your pain, my radiator sprung a leak 1 week before I had to move from MN to TX and it was -15F outside.
